This course follows on from Planning Nuts and Bolts. It looks at the practical element of responding to planning applications. What should and shouldn't be included in your responses.
This is an interactive course
and offers the opportunity to network with Clerks and Councillors from Councils across Northamptonshire to share best practice and ideas.

This course is for clerks and councillors that have previously attended Planning Nuts and Bolts or have a sound knowledge of planning policy.

Over 30 years’ professional planning experience, of which 17 years was spent at local authorities in development control and enforcement. Lance has worked in a number of emerging areas of planning including affordable housing, waste related developments and energy efficiency, together with planning policy work including Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessments and Local Development Documents as well as being heavily involved in neighbourhood planning since its inception.
